Bar Exam People

If I end up failing the Alabama bar it’s because I’ve spent more time working on things like this: The Six People You Meet at the Bar Exam than on learning substantive law.

Also, the morning of the MBE I woke up with really terribly heart burn and then puked about an hour later.  I may have been a little hungover, but not terribly so, and was less nervous than the previous days.  The thing is, I recognized the puke as a meal I’d eaten some 14 hours earlier.  Your stomach is supposed to empty after only about 5 hours, right?  Do I have a digestive disorder, or am I just paranoid?

    Maybe it’s a tumor?

    It’s not a tumor!

Nah, that happens. (Either that, or I’m dying, too.) I think that 5-hour thing is an average, as some things digest more quickly than others. For example, it might take your stomach less than an hour to process and pass on simple sugars, but 10 hours to prepare beef jerky for the next stage. I *think* that’s how it works.

Yeah, I’ve read something similar, but I caughed up brunswick stew, which has a whole lot of different things in it, and though I didn’t take a complete inventory, it looked like I had a pretty good representation, including corn, which I think is supposed to go through your system pretty quickly.

If you’re stressed out you’re not digesting properly…And all the blood and energy normally allocated for digestion instead gets resourced for fight or flight.

Women often have this problem after they have anal sex. They do not crap for a few days because the poop is impacted in the large intestine. Eventually it all comes out at once. Therefore, if your girlfriend all of a sudden has to make the mother load, and you haven’t banged her up the ass, she is probably getting it from some other dude.

I know from personal experience that isn’t true.
